I try to create a floating menu in notchbar. When i set the item position to “absolute position” then i have two items. Why?
That's a limitation of this specific setup, absolutely positioned menus always need at least two items to work properly. It has been on my todo list for a while to fix this, but for now you can just add a second item.
If possible make sure to also set the menu's positioning mode to manual x / y based:

can you export the menu to file and post it here? then I can check. (right-click the menu in the btt config => export to file)
