Finder Context Menus Do Not Appear in OneDrive


Using preset provided in tutorial in Documentation
I was unable to see my own context menu entries which used to appear. Imported the example from the tutorial and had the same result.

Closed BTT configuration. Confirmed Finder Extension is enabled. Closed and reopened Finder window. Tried a different window. Tried several different windows. That is when I found one where the menu entry did appear. Then I kept trying different ones to see which reproduced the issue and which did not.

Any Finder window that is connected to Sharepoint/OneDrive will not show the context menu entries. Any Finder window I tried that was not connected would show it.


Affected input device (Context Menu under custom menu items).


Device information:

  • Type of Mac: G1 Macbook Pro
  • macOS version: Tahoe 26.2
  • BetterTouchTool version: BetterTouchTool 6.304 (March, 25, 2026)

unfortunately this is a limitation of Finder extensions, they are not allowed for such file providers ;-(

I was afraid that might be the case. I found the same issue with another app promising the same features. It added a shift key modifier to somehow work around that. I am keen to keep to BTT instead of collecting apps from all over. Thanks.
