Feel free to ask any questions about the clipboard!

Overall, I need the following features:

  • Press Shift + Command + A (easy to press)
  • Launch the screenshot tool
  • Select the screenshot area
  • Open a text box (where I can customize the GPT prompt, like inputting: translate the image content to German or translate the image to Italian)
  • Display GPT's response

Right now, BTT only allows one specific prompt, so I can't freely choose a different prompt when I want to ask something else about the image.

BTT allows variables in the prompt (put them in curly braces) so you can configure it however you like. Also if you check the "Always ask what to do everytime when executing" (on the very bottom right of your screenshot), BTT will show a prompt whenever you execute this.

Can I use variables as prompt words?

yes, you just need to put them in curly braces.

AI tools might be able to produce image files in the future. Maybe one day we can quickly solve things with BTT, like enhancing the resolution of my screenshots and sending them straight to the clipboard, and so on.

I have a question. How can I create a pop-up text input box, and when I press enter, the text in the box will be saved as a variable x? I can't use clipboard content because it's currently occupied by an image. I want to use variable x as a prompt afterwards.

use the predefined action "Ask for Input"

Oh, I’ve made this perfect feature work! Thanks a lot!

Next, I’ll be optimizing the HUD style. The default square shape isn’t great for showing content, so I want to make it so that the hub disappears when you tap the touchpad.

We’ve created something amazing that lets us ask questions about images anytime!

Var {CLIPBOARD_CONTENT} is not showing last copied from clipboard in HUD.
