Feature Request: Toggle Inspector Views – Visible Windows, Hovered UI Element, Focused UI Element

BetterTouchTool currently offers inspector views (Visible Windows, Hovered UI Element, Focused UI Element) only by manually clicking on a button within Advanced Trigger Conditions. This limits their accessibility during the configuration of Conditional Activation Groups. New Actions to show/hide them would allow quick access to these inspectors during trigger setup.

Problem Statement

  • Restricted Access: Inspector views are available only in Advanced Trigger Conditions, not in Conditional Activation Groups.
  • Inefficient Workflow: Requiring users to navigate through the "Advanced Conditions..." button slows down trigger configuration.

Proposed Solution

  • Show/Hide Actions: Implement new actions to show/hide the inspector views.
  • Flexible Assignment: Allow these actions to be triggered via any BTT trigger (e.g., keyboard shortcuts, trackpad gestures).

Benefits

  • Streamlined Configuration: Fewer steps to access inspectors, speeding up the process.
  • Enhanced Visual Feedback: Immediate feedback for more precise trigger setup.
  • Unified Access: Extends inspector functionality to Conditional Activation Groups.

Even when not configuring conditional Triggers in BTT, I use these inspectors regularly for a wide range of purposes.

Thank you for considering this enhancement!

I can make them available via action!

However this:

is because they can not be used in Conditional Activation Groups because these properties can not be monitored continuously. In case of advanced trigger conditions they only get evaluated when the trigger is triggered
