export of custom text preset looks gibberish

I would like to share a few presets for a specific scientific software with my colleagues. These presets have touch bar buttons which will paste custom text into an editor. When I exported these presets for a specific app, the .bttpreset has this custom text converted to some gibberish. Can this not be the same text as I pasted in the custom text box?

Please let me know.

because this supports rich text (e.g. bold text etc) it can not be represented as raw text unfortunately

If they import, they will get the correct text right?

yes (you can try by deleting your preset and importing the export again)
