I had experienced something similar a few weeks weeks ago and you gave me a script to run in terminal. Eventually after a few MacOS updates the hyper key issue and issues with Karbinder have mostly it seems been fixed, However every. now and then, at least once or 2x a day a modifier key will end up stuff down and everything I have tried to mitigate it ie press it etc h ave done nothing to remedy, Example I press ESC button and it ill trigger Force Quti t because i have FN+ESC to force quite . Other times it seems like it is the command key? because i have cmd cmd set to ASKAI in raycast and if i press command once it enables it. Very strange and frustrating. Ill of cousce running all up to date software for Mac and BTT and KB. Any idea? really appreciate it. I just went into the keyboard sequences and made sure that they all had the button execute in order clicked …as a long shot. Hopeful someone has some inf thanks
there was a bug in older versions of BTT where the "only send key down" option of the keyboard shortcut action in BTT was not honored. If you had (possibly accidentally) configured a shortcut sending with what option in the past, it might not have caused issues until recently when the bug was fixed.
If the issue happens, best check the recently used section in BTT and check whether any shortcut is being sent with the "only key down" option enabled. The latest version of BTT will also show a notification if it recognizes a key down only shortcut that is not being released within 10s.
