Either Apple changed drag-lock (single-finger tap, tap, hold) behavior, or there's a major bug in Mojave.
If trackpad drag-lock is enabled, tap-to-click no longer works, and you need to double-tap-to-click (not mentioned in the UI). If I disable drag-lock, tap-to-click behaves as expected (and much faster!)
Could you introduce BTT features related to dragging/drag-lock, so that we don't have to pray and hope Apple fixes this in a future release? Perhaps you can even make a superior version that doesn't make tap-to-click slower with drag-lock enabled.
