Note: Before bug reporting, please make sure you have tried the latest (alpha) version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-).
I can't try any BTT version after 6.484 because any newer version won't even launch for me.
Describe the bug
It doesn't matter what settings I choose for Mouse Speed settings under Logitech Mouse Configuration, everything feels the same.
I'm applying the settings multiple times, restarting BTT, and restarting my laptop. The Mouse Speed settings just don't change anything. If they do, it's not noticeable at all. Everything is always fast. Even on the lowest settings with Acceleration set to -1.
The only way I can comfortably use BTT right now is to change my mouse speed setting in System Prefs. I basically have to do this after every time BTT re-recognizes / reinitializes my mouse.
I changed DPI to 100, speed to 0.1 and acceleration to -1
Restarted BTT. The mouse was actually faster than it was with default settings (2000 dpi, 0.5, 10)
What I figured out was that if I then changed the speed in System Preferences, the speed I chose there was slower than it would "normally" be (without BTT).
So BTT is like... adding a multiplier to whatever is chosen in System Preferences, right? But it only adds the multiplier if I change the speed in System Preferences (after choosing BTT settings).
In other words, applying changes and restarting BTT isn't actually applying those BTT settings until I change the speed in System Preferences...
Maybe this was changed in a newer version? Again i'm on version 6.484.
I will try a newer version now - but I don't know if they will launch on my macOS version.
