Disabling Notch Bar Doesn't Keep it Disabled

First off, I know this is an alpha and problems exist but I still wanted to report it just in case.

Describe the bug
After upgrading to the latest alpha, I disabled the notch bar and everything appeared fine. But since then every so often it's like it tries to enable itself and I have to go back into the notch bar settings and enable it and disable it again.

Sometimes the menu bar will just turn black, other times the menu options will get really small like there's notch bar stuff present, and others it's weird menu options in messed up order, etc.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
Input doesn't appear to affect anything from what I can tell.

Screenshots
No screenshots but if it happens again I'll try to take some.
