Disable trigger in app: only selecting/disabling app works

I want to disable the middle click function in Davinci Resolve, but want to keep other BTT triggers in Resolve.

I read on here re: duplicating the same trigger for Resolve with "use apple default or do nothing":

EDIT: no images are loading on forum for me right now, or is that just me!?

This doesn't work.

But if I disable Resolve entirely I get the desired middle click (drag) functionality working again.

Help!?

instead of assigning the "use apple default or do nothing" action, try to disable the trigger in BTT for davinci resolve (select the trigger and press cmd+d).

Right, wasn't sure what you meant, tried following:

  • Resolve added to BTT in sidebar (click it - it's empty).
  • Copy and paste the "normal mouse buttons/middle mouse button" trigger into Resolve (now Resolve only shows this 1 trigger).
  • CMD+D to disable this trigger.
