This was working perfectly last week, so I could use my macropad for number entry (it's mapped to different snap positions).
Any suggestions? I've tried different keys on both the laptop keyboard and external.

Maybe you have another app running that provides window snapping functionality as well?
(E.g. my other app BetterTouchTool?)

Thank you for quick reply. I don't, but it sounds like it's not a common problem. I'm updating to Sequoia tonight, I'll check after that.
Presumably I'll have to disable the native Sequoia snapping in some way to avoid clashing with Better Snap Tool.
By the way, BTT still provides some vital functions such as remember window position, which is vital for me as my Mac forgets every time in my 3 monitor setup. 
Well updating to Sequoia didn't break BTT and indeed had all the snapping turned off by default.
The Disable key stil does not work but I can't rule out zillions of other things but don't worry about it if you can't reproduce.
