Hi @Andreas_Hegenberg , My Y Offset in the Custom Move/Resize Window dialogue does not have the expected effect. I can change X Offset of Top Left Corner from Top left corner of screen and resize to new W and new H successfully and as expected (both +ve and -ve), but changing the Y offset absolute does not change anything. Is there another config setting I might be missing for Y offset to work correctly?
Thanks, Ruairi
best post a screenshot of your current config, then I can tell how you need to adjust it
in this screenshot I was trying relative to screen, to see if there is any effect on Y offset with any of the options. Absolute works for X, but not for Y.
You probably want to move it down, correct? As your reference coordinate here is the top left corner of the screen and the window, you'd need to use negative Y values for this.
Allow me smack my own head, having (not quite) wasted your time. All makes sense now and I am empowered. Thanks for the quick and full resolution and of course BTT.
But, shouldn't a +ve offset have tried to move the window 'up' off the screen? I tested a -ve X and shifted the window top left successfully 'left' off the screen.
Unfortunately (depending on your macOS display setup), windows can not be programmatically moved further up than the menubar.
