Creating an AI Forum Section - Reflections on Translation and Interaction

The application of AI in tools like BTT (BetterTouchTool) is still underutilized. To unlock its potential, we need to establish a dedicated section for applying these powerful tools.

For instance, imagine a scenario: when I select text in an input field and tap the spacebar three times, an integrated browser plugin for Google Translate automatically translates the selected content into English.

Recently, Mr. Andrew developed a feature to use GPT for translations, replacing the selected text with its translated version. It's fantastic, and I'm currently exploring how to integrate such interactions—like triggering a translation by tapping the spacebar three times using a built-in BTT script.

This is just a small example. There are countless applications waiting to be developed. For example, here’s a workflow I often use:

  1. Find an interesting discussion on a website, such as Hacker News.
  2. Copy the URL (e.g., https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=42334327).
  3. Open Notellm and paste the URL.
  4. Enter a prompt like “Summarize user comments.”
  5. Review the summarized content.

This process is something I repeat multiple times daily, but I’m not sure how to create an automated script to streamline it completely.

An AI-focused forum section could facilitate the development of workflows like these and empower users to explore endless possibilities for productivity and creativity.

My responses are currently based on AI translation, and I hope there won't be too many issues with the translations.
