Constant Crashes on Tahoe with Custom Touchbar Items Enabled

Bug:

Under Tahoe Public Beta, if any app is running that has custom Touch Bar items set up, BetterTouchTool crashes when I open BTT's Configuration window and start creating or editing a trigger. In most cases it happens when I interact with any input field. After that initial crash, BTT often goes into an endless crash and restart cycle until I reboot my Mac.

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro, 13-inch, M2, 2022
  • macOS version: 26.0 Beta (25A5346a)
  • BetterTouchTool version: 5.561

Thanks for reporting! This seems to be a bug in Tahoe, I'll report it to Apple. 5.562 might workaround this for most cases (uploading now).
