Consistent delay after four-finger tap

There is always a delay of ~1 second when I use four-finger tap. It's a paste-without-formatting shortcut (shift+CMD+V) and because of the short delay I often think I haven't triggered it and end up hitting it twice.

This has been the case for a few versions and it's pretty annoying. Anyone know a way I can speed this up or avoid the delay?

did you add a four finger double tap to your setup? in that case BTT will need to wait until it is sure no second tap is coming.

I did, I did! I've changed the double-tap to something else and it's fast again, thank you so much!
