Before bug reporting, please make sure you have tried the latest (alpha) version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-). If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app's "Crash Reports" section.
Describe the bug
After recent install of BTT, it runs at 100pct CPU, constantly restarts (after some time) and kills keyboard entry across the Mac (causes intermittent pauses). The app no longer opens, i.e. I have no access to its configuration and I must permanently remove it from the Mac in order to get a normal working computer back.
Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
Mac Studio M2, keyboard
Device information:
- Type of Mac: studio m2
- macOS version: macos26.3.1
- BetterTouchTool version: sorry I cannot see it, menu cannot be opened. It is ‘the latest one’ i.e downloaded this week.
