close current group, goes to root and not one level up... configuration cache

Hi
Q1 I have a second level group button, so root>group1>group2>close_group_button. When I want to close group2, it goes to root and not group1. Am I doing something wrong?

Q2
I have another setting:
root>group1>group11>close_group_button1
root>group2>group21>close_group_button1_copy

is there some cache in touch bar settings that it would not let go of previous configuration? because if I copy button close_group_button1 from group11 to another group21, the action of close_group_button1_copy is to go back to group1 and not group2
