It appears that the 'Close all Notification Alerts / Notification Center' doesn't work in Big Sur.

From my understanding, users of older Macs have looked for a 'Close' Gui element on Notifications in their apple scripts, which have since been changed in Big Sur. Perhaps this helps with the issue. The following workaround have some success, but they break when notifications are grouped by app -> https://apple.stackexchange.com/a/408602
