Clear All Notification Alerts no longer working IOS26

I have a key sequence that would show Notification Center and then Close All Notifications that will no longer function on iOS 26. It opens, but will not remove notifications.

The close all notifications action still seems to work fine here on macOS 26. Are you on the latest BTT version?

I must not have been. I went through it, and it upgraded again; now it works. I think maybe I was on the Alpha version or something. Thanks for the idea.

I can’t make the close all notifications action to work. I’m on macOS 15.6.1 and BTT 5.631

I have tried to execute it with the notification center opened and closed and it never removes the notifications.

I have the same issue, updated to latest, tried with notification center open and closed, then updated to alpha. Same. Close All Notification Alerts / Notification Center is not working for me at the moment. Tahoe 26.0; Version: 5.639 2025091810)

I think maybe it currently doesn't work with all system languages on Tahoe.
What language is your system set to? (I mostly tested english)

I changed my system language to ā€œEnglish(UK)ā€œ and the action works as expected.

I changed back my system language to ā€œcatalĆ ā€ (macOS Sequoia 15.7) and the action is not working.

@Andreas_Hegenberg maybe you could modify the action to get the correct language name if the system language is not english?

@jordikt do these translations look correct?

 "ca": {
                "Close": "Tancar",
                "Clear All": "Esborrar‑ho tot",
                "Notification Center": "Centre de notificacions"
},

Yes, it's correct catalan.

FYI, when I remove manually the notifications, these are the labels:

Label 1- "Esborra" (means "Clear") in the button. When this button is pressed, a second button appears showing the label 2

Label 2- "Totes les notificacions" (means "All the notifications"). When this button is pressed, all notifications are removed.

It seems like apple renamed ā€œTancarā€ to ā€œTancaā€ which is causing the issue. Is that possible? Would ā€œTancaā€ also be correct?

Also they renamed 'Esborrar‑ho tot' to ā€˜ Esborra‑ho tot'

Other languages with problematic translation changes are: ā€œnlā€, ā€œheā€ and ā€œroā€. I’ll update the translations, then it should work again. (v5.645)

I’m experiencing the issue with U.S. English.

That is weird - in general it works for english. It could however be a permission problem.

BTT requires the ā€œSystem Eventsā€ automation permission in System Settings => Privacy & Security

Yes, everything is correct.
Both "Tanca" and "Tancar" are correct.
Both "Esborrar‑ho tot" and "Esborra‑ho tot" are correct.

Installed v5.648 and it works like a charm !!

Thanks @Andreas_Hegenberg !!

I already had system events enabled. It worked once earlier. But not working anymore. I toggled System Events off then back on, but didn’t make a difference. Restarted the app multiple times, restarted computer. I updated to latest alpha, Version: 5.648 2025092006), but no luck.

Did you find a fix? I’m having the same issue on both of my Macs running MacOS 26. The Close all notifications doesn’t seem to work at all. I am on latest available BTT version 5.670. Language is US English on both. It was working fine until I updated to MacOS 26. @Andreas_Hegenberg

could only imagine a permission issue, it seems to work correctly on my macOS 26 test machines (german & us english)

I was able to uninstall the app. Reinstalled the latest version, and it worked. I was having issues before because I was on the Alpha version.

Unfortunately still does not work for me after updating to BTT 5.6.70 (2025092702) on macOS 26 with Polish language. The app has all required permissions turned on… :thinking:
