Capture Screenshot..

Guys,

Is BTT able to do the following workflow (or is some other tool better suited):

Capture a screenshot.
Save it to the file.
Upload only file path to the clipboard.
Call another application.
Paste clipboard file path to it.

Any help appreciated.

The Capture Screenshot (Configurable) action has the option to automatically open the screenshot in another application after taking it.

Thanks for your feedback.

I am after the file path that can be passed to the other apps, such as text editors (for future reference). I have no need to open the screenshot in the other app at that time.

Maybe there are other options?

That same action can also run a terminal command after capturing. You can use that to copy the path to your clipboard:
