What about capturing the touch buttons of the AirPods Pro that's actually to play/pause music or to toggle ANC.
I would connect AirPods Pro to a Keyboard Shortcut in Zoom or MS Teams to toggle Microphone on or off while walking through my working room.
I need this soooooo much to mute/unmute zoom while getting other stuff than sitting in front of the computer! If I could give a thousand upvotes I'd do it
Another thousand upvotes!
The click to mute feature was actually added natively in macOS Sonoma and iOS 17 (mute API). Initially, there were issues with its functionality in Zoom. However, after testing with the most recent version of Zoom, I can confirm that it now functions seamlessly. Works in FaceTime, hopefully works in other programs, too!
I literally spent hours yesterday trying to figure out how to capture pressing the mute button on the iPods pro, only to install the new zoom client this morning to find it works. Perfect timing!! I can now mute and unmute Zoom without having to touch my computer!
It would still be very useful to have this feature in BTT.
Zoom finally added the feature but for example google meet doesn't have a native app, so it doesn't work there.
