For some reason my BTT can't send any key commands to apps without the "Bring app to front" checkmark being enabled. I would really like to be able to send commands without having to have that window switch back and forth. I checked the Security>Accessibility settings and BTT is checked. I don't think it's ever worked for me. Is there some other setting I need to enable to make this work?
unfortunately this needs to be supported by the app, especially newer apps often don’t implement support for background shortcuts anymore - there is no way to workaround that. (sometimes using Apple Script instead of shortcuts will be possible)
Ah, ok. I'm using it with Chrome, Movist Pro, and VLC.
