Can't interact with iStat Menus buttons in Notch Bar

Describe the bug
Hi everyone,

I've been using Notch Bar with a setup I really like, but I'm running into an issue: I can't interact with the iStat Menus buttons when they're displayed in the Notch Bar. They show up fine, but clicking on them doesn't do anything.

This is something new, previously it worked just fine. Though I cannot pinpoint to when this started or what caused it.

Has anyone else encountered this? Any workarounds or settings I might be missing?

Thanks!

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.): Notch Bar

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro, 14-inch, 2021
  • macOS version: 26.0.1 (25A362)
  • BetterTouchTool version: bettertouchtool@alpha: 5.757,2025111301

@Andreas_Hegenberg , have you any idea what could cause this?

Unfortunately macOS Tahoe has made it difficult to interact with them. I'm not sure whether I will be able to fix this (macOS 15 already made stuff for the Notch Bar very complex, which is why it was deprecated more than a year ago)

Thanks for getting back to me on this. I’d be happy to migrate to the Floating Menu / Widget if the migration is somewhat easy, but I couldn’t find a straight forward way to migrate my Notch Bar setup to the Floating Menu.
