Hello! I cant double tap any more in Shapr3d. Its like BTT slows down the reaction. So when i try to use it in Shapr3d it just does one tap and another tap on the one tap action instead off doing the double tap command. If i pause BTT it works fine.
The only trackpad commands i have on shapr3d is 3 finger swipes. And keyboard commands, with longpress options.
Double tap seams to work fine on other apps. Double tapping words etc.

which version of BTT? You are using the system‘s tap to click function or do you have something set up in BTT?

Using tap to click. I think it changed with an BTT update. And wasnt a problem before. Have been using Shapr3d for hundreds of hours the last months, and it worked fine before.
Maybe theres something with my trackpad.
mhm 4.889 should not contain any changes that might affect tap to click. I made some changes there recently, but only starting with 4.890 and higher
Have you already tried to restart your Mac? Does your issue go away if you quit BTT?
I did update it today, it was 4.872 i think. The autoupdates cant keep up with you. 
4.890 and higher are only available in the alpha channel currently
It goes away when just pausing BTT for the app.
Is there a good way to test the trackpad? You have all the ways to visualize input it but i would be nice to have some kind of latency test, and maybe how fast it recognizes double taps or continually tapping fast. So that you could test if there is a bluetooth connection issue. Then you could for example for compare numbers with the built in trackpad with the bluetooth trackpad on a macbook.
Another strange thing that i just thought was general bug in MacOS. When using screen share my clicks gets stuck. As if I keep pressing the trackpad, and if i keep clicking an icon in dock it goes to right click menu. It goes away if i close screen share and open the connection again. But i tried quitting BTT and worked fine directly.
I only have 3 and 4 finger tap as gestures for Screensharing.app.
Very strange. I dont know if you ever use Screensharing.app? I guess some kind of latency can screw things up. But it feels like there is some kind of connection to the problems with my double tapping.
do you maybe have the experimental dropbox/icloud sync enabled in BTT‘s settings? That has caused weird issues in the past
No, im not using that. I would love for a better way to analyze what BTT is doing. The live preview is nice but i can only see the global triggers.
I dont think im alone of having a huge amount of triggers after using the app for 10 years. Is there no way to list all triggers including the ones for apps? For example if I want to see everything that uses 4 fingers on the trackpad to disable some and look for conflicts.
Im having another strange thing going on if I use screensharing. When send CTRL 1 to tag a file the command moves to end of file list and presses ENTER. Both in screen share.app an jumpdesk.
Do you have any tips for the best way to analyze what is happening/going wrong? I tried "recently used trigger" but nothing strange shows up.
