Hello. I have configured several actions to the one keyboard shortcut, so a context menu with several options appears. In the past, when this menu appeared, I could select items using the arrow keys or by pressing the numbers that appear next to them. Now I can no longer select any options with the keyboard, only with the mouse or trackpad. I have tried to check all the settings I can think of, but I can't find a way to reactivate this function.
I share a screenshot to better explain my issue.
Thank you for your help.
mh that should still work fine as BTT is just showing a system context menu. Does keyboard navigation still work for other context menus on your machine? (e.g. in finder?)
Thanks for your fast response, @Andreas_Hegenberg
All the keyboard navigation works fine in my computer in every app, except with the BBT floating contextual menus. That’s why this bug is annoying me.
which version of BTT/macos are you currently on?
(It seems to work fine here with the recent BTT builds on macOS Tahoe)
But the problem was in Sequoia too
Strange. I just checked on another machine of mine but it's also working fine there. You configured this using the predefined action "Show Custom Context Menu (New)", correct?
What is your BTT version?
I’m not sure.
I show you a screenshot of my configuration. Several actions with one shorcut.
ah I see. That is a so called "conflict menu" that shows if BTT doesn't know which action to trigger because there are multiple candidates. (A better way is to use the predefined action "Show Context Menu (new)"
I will check whether anything is different for these menus.
Thanks @Andreas_Hegenberg. I didn’t know about the action “Show Context Menu (new)”. I made a new one, with the same results. But… I tried to deactivate all the processes running in the background in my computer and restarted the machine. Somehow, the Context Menu works now with the arrows but not with the numbers or letters associated with each item of the menu.
