I've been playing with Touchbar customisation. At the moment, I'm fairly happy with the default, system Touchbar showing, according to the app I'm using. But I have a few configurations set up that I call up using the modifier keys (command, option etc). When I press the modifier key, my touchbar sort of "slides in" from the right in what looks like an animation. Is it possible to stop this, to save a little time before the touchbar shows up fully?
If you make the BTT Touch Bar full-size (i.e. disable the macOS control strip in the BTT Touch Bar settings), the system will not show that animation. This is the only way however.
