Can I put a shortcut in the Dock?

Hello,

I've been working towards the task of getting rid of Launchpad and replacing it with just a list of apps (without having to right-click Launchpad). I've been able to make a Shortcut to open my Applications folder, but it's kind of slow. I also made a BTT macro to open a list of applications with a button on mouse - it opens instantly. I was wondering if there was any way to turn the macro into something that could be put on the Dock and initiated that way?

Thanks

One thing that might be even easier: You can drag your applications folder to the right side of the Dock. This is always the first thing I do on a new macOS installation.

If you want, there are various ways to put a BTT action into the Dock, e.g. : How to create a Action in Dock - #2 by SLE
