BTT takes forever to start

Note:
Before bug reporting, please make sure you have tried the latest (alpha) version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-). If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app from the "User Diagnostic Reports" section.

Describe the bug
BTT only opens fast if I restart my MacBook. Even if i close it, everything I click makes my MacBook lag and freeze. I also tried to download older versions, nothing changes, even a clean installation is impossible to use, checking for updates makes it freeze and the only solution is to restart my MacBook. It's not a preset problem because I was already using it in the past without any issue. What should I do? Thank you

Every input device is affected, mouse and touchbar, which become unusable.

  • macOS version: MacOS Sequoia
  • BetterTouchTool version: 4.680

one of the sequoia betas had a bug that could cause this, but it seems fixed on the systems I tried with the latest betas. It could possibly be a firewall issue if macOS can not verify the notarization status

Is there a way to send you the screen recording of the issue?

I probably found the problem, the MacBook firewall is locking all connections btt related, but from settings I cannot switch it on. What should I do? Thanks

I think probably waiting for the final sequoia build should help, I assume the golden master will be released next week!
