BTT suddenly crashed after a while

Describe the bug
The BTT accidentally crash frequently which make the app unable to use. No hints so far what is the reason, I've tried to restart my computer, quit all the app that I can quit, restart BTT, and wait for a while, like 3mins, the BTT will close suddenly with no reason, even not a crash window would pop-up, but seldom it would pop-up a crash window and say would you like to restart BTT.

Affected input device: None, since BTT closed automatically

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro 16-inch 2019
  • macOS version: macOS Catalina 10.15.1
  • BetterTouchTool version: (please post the exact version - not just "the latest one")

Additional information:

  • The only setting that I have is a 8-buttons touch bar customization

Anyone encountered the similar issues? It do caused obviously impact on my daily use!

Yeah, same issue for me, same specs. as OP except 2012 MBP 15".

First thought it was because I was on the Alpha channel so I reverted back to stable but problem persists.

Im at the point were I may cron BTT to be killed every hour.
