Hey everyone,
I've been running into a weird issue with BetterTouchTool and was hoping someone here might have seen this before or has an idea what could help.
I'm using a Logitech G502 X Lightspeed mouse and I've set up some custom gestures in BTT, like holding a side button and moving the mouse to trigger actions. Everything works great at first, but then the problem starts when the Mac enters screensaver mode.
It doesn't happen when I close and reopen the MacBook lid. In that case, everything still works fine. But when the screensaver activates and I move the mouse to wake the Mac, all mouse gestures in BTT stop working. Trackpad gestures still work, so BTT itself is clearly still running. It's just the mouse gestures that completely stop responding.
The only thing that helps is if I open BetterMouse and then immediately quit it again. After that, the mouse gestures in BTT work again like normal.
I'm not even using BetterMouse anymore since I switched fully to BTT. It's still installed on my system, but it's not running or doing anything in the background.
Has anyone had something like this happen? It feels like macOS disables something related to mouse input after the screensaver, and BetterMouse somehow resets it. I'd love to find a way to make BTT handle this on its own without relying on that workaround.
Thanks in advance for any help
