BTT mobile change setup based on opened app

Is it possible to configure different actions or profiles based on which app is currently in focus on Mac?

Also, could BTT Mobile support additional gesture controls along the edges of the iPhone, such as:

  • Single tap

  • Double tap

  • Long press

  • Swipe up, down, left, and right

Ideally, these gestures could trigger customizable actions such as adjusting system volume, changing screen brightness, controlling media playback, or executing shortcuts. It would be especially useful to assign different actions to different gestures and edges, turning the iPhone into a customizable gesture-based remote for the Mac.

the mobile trackpad gestures can not be configured, it supports all the basic mouse features but supporting configurable gestures on it is currently not planned.

You can however have per-app menus be displayed in BTT Mobile. The example menu for example shows additional buttons when Safari is active, but it would also be possible to show completely different menus. Is that what you are looking for?

An alternative is to use the "Specific App Did Activate" trigger and use the predefined action "Show Floating Menu With Name On Connected iOS Device". This action allows to show any floating menu you have configured on demand.

Is it possible to get the app icon instead of sf symbols? for the icons

for floating menu icons? Yes you can use any graphic you want. There is also an app icon selector:
