BTT is not taking over the touch bar anymore

BTT has no effect on the touch bar anymore. Only the standard touch bar icons are visible and working ok. But my customized tool bar does not show up. I can see the BTT Icon in the menu bar and I did not change anything in the settings. I already tried to "Reset ALL Settings" to start over, but that has no effect either. My settings are still there but the customized tool bar is not visible.

This is true for all accounts on this mac.

it's probably just hidden.
Add a keyboard shortcut to BetterTouchTool and assign the predefined action "toggle BetterTouchTool Touchbar" to hide / show it at any time.
