BTT is capturing my screen whenever I restart BTT, even after rebooting the computer

Note:
[Done] Before bug reporting, please make sure you have tried the latest (alpha) version of BetterTouchTool

[Done] and that you have already tried to restart your system :-).

[No crash] If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app's "Crash Reports" section.

Describe the bug
After I tried to configure NotchBar items at the first time, then I failed to implement temporary files or folder’s collection in the notch, so I disabled the default Triggers/functions, or got them into Trash then returned them back then still kept them disabled,

since some time point, the purple screen-icon in the menubar activates whenever I start BTT. Plz watch the screenshot below.

Plz, maker, this symptom is very very very unpleasant and uncomfortable, I can’t even type any password just in case, so plz resolve this as quick as possible🥲… Thank you in advance, and thank you for having built this app for us.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):

I have no idea about this.

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: Apple M1 Max
  • macOS version: Sequoia 15.6.1 (24G90)
  • BetterTouchTool version: (please post the exact version - not just "the latest one") 5.755(2025111001)

Additional information (e.g. crash logs, related issues, etc.):

you seem to be using the NotchBar feature, that needa to capture your menubar status items which causes this to show up

Could you instruct me to disable that? Actually using BTT except implementing touchpad’s functions is very difficult for me, so I’ll rather give up using Notchbar function.(Or I think I should watch a instructive video for using it, but later after learning how to disable this capturing mode)
But I’ve failed to disable the capturing mode, eventhough I’ve deleted all the command-items, or remove it from the top-bar-icons like the screenshot below, and then I’ve restored my preset that I’ve backed up to disable it.

Oh! Only restoring my preset backed up then rebooting the macbook disabled it!

Additionally, it’s my feedback, I hope BBT will be improved by AI, so that any beginner can use BTT’s function in total, without any difficulty, using a natural language. BBT is great but very difficult to implement a function using it.

This is actually a bug in macOS. Right now, any app that uses this permission might not automatically show the reminder, including the purple dot in the upper right corner.

There's still no way to fix it.
