BTT does not recognize a lifetime license

Hello,
in my MBook Air M1, BTT latest version does not read my lifetime license and freezes the menubar so it cannot be accesed by the app.
I run Monterey 12.3.1.

Anybody has had the same problem?

maybe try resetting BTT by deleting this folder while it's quit:

~/Library/Application Support/BetterTouchTool (Go there via Finder => go => go to folder, make sure to include the ~)

However this would also delete your BTT setup.

Hello,
no matter what I do I get a Registration error while importing the license and, also, there is no BetterTouchTool folder in my application support.
I do not know why, the trial version seems to work fine (except I don't always get a functioning BTT menu bar)
