Relatedly, could there be an option to only show the icons for the action items when they appear in the main action bar so more items could be visible? It would make sense to still show the action name in the overflow pop up (or groups, if that worked out).

this is already possible, you can right-click an item and choose "only show icon"

Adding submenus for transformers is a good idea. I think I'll make it so that transformers are in a group in the BTT UI, they will appear as a menu. However this might only come in January.

@xidiot I have added a workaround in 4.976. It's ugly because it forces it into the sidebar, but will work for now. (This clipboard manager is a mix of very old to very new technologies, which makes some things a bit unconventional)

@Frank1 4.976 also keeps snippets if they have been deleted from all

With 4.987 a few things should now be working:

• The predefined action "Copy To Clipboard Manager Snippet Group" now allows to copy any selection into a specific Snippet Group
• The predefined action "Paste And Remove Selected Item From Clipboard Manager Group" allows to to paste the first or the last item of a snippet group and delete it immediately. This makes it easy to setup a "queue" where you copy multiple things in sequence and later can paste them in sequence again.
• The predefined actions "Show Clipboard Manager" and "Show/Hide Clipboard Manager" now have various options on how to position the clipboard manager windows. They also allow to specify a snippet group that should be activated when showing. You can configure this action multiple times and assign it to different triggers to access various snippet groups easily.
• There is a new "Copy As File" option. Then triggering this on text or images they will be copied as a file to your clipboard, you can then paste them e.g. in Finder
• New predefined action: "Clipboard Manager: Delete Selected Items" (might be useful for some action sequences)
• Snippet Sidebar: you can now right-click any group to delete it

Possibly the initial window & sidebar sizes will be messed up when starting this version for the first time.

It looks like toggling the preview pane with the toolbar button no longer maintains its visibility state between window appearance and it relies only on the checkbox to configure the action.

Is there any way to have it remember the toggle state again?

Unrelated to my last post:

Is there a way to configure the font used for plain text previews in the clipboard manager?

Unfortunately, if I try to open the Clipboard Manager with v 4.988, BTT does nothing or crashes.

I couldn't find the window at first either. After I restarted BTT, it eventually showed up as a very small window in the bottom left of my display. After I resized it and moved it, I haven't had problems showing it since.

in the show action you can now set a name, which is also used to save the size & position. (to allow for multiple actions with different sizing)

Yes, thank you, when I enter a name there, the window appears. Then it can be configured. But it doesn't keep the settings when I close and reopen it.

have you checked the “show preview panel” checkbox in the show action?

I’ll check whether I can save that automatically as well. Would probably make sense to remove the checkboxes and just use the last state for that configuration

Ah, sorry, everything is fine now.

So a separate name is required for each window? Because it doesn't work without one.
