Brightness slides not working with ctrl ^ modifier key

Hi, I have set the brightness slides widget on my touch bar to only show when the ctrl modifier key is pressed, but this stops it from working correctly - the brightness doesn't change anymore.

I've tried the same with the volume slider and that one seems to work.

Can you please look into this? :slight_smile:

currently the slider change the brightness of any external display if ctrl is pressed (like the macOS brightness buttons). I'll check if I can make this optional.
