Brightness Slider Widget Unresponsive/Laggy

Note:

  • Checked other bug reports/questions. No answers as of yet, checked Stack/Google/etc. None of them apply to BTT.
  • It appears to be an issue with environmental variables that have "CG_CONTEXT"

Describe bug

  • As of today out of nowhere, touching anywhere upon the brightness slider makes it lag before it responds. It's about a 3-5 second delay. Same issue with dragging it. It used to work right away.
  • Did not have this issue on Catalina, Ventura, and now Sonoma... until today.

Device info:

  • Type of Mac: MBP 13" (2020)
  • macOS version: 14.2 (Sonoma)
  • BetterTouchTool version: 4.364

  • Issue goes away when MacOS control center (top right of menu-bar) is open at the same time as when trying to adjust the slider widget (in touch bar).
  • Very weird why that is...
