BetterTouchTool becomes “Not Responding” immediately after launch.

Describe the bug

BetterTouchTool becomes “Not Responding” immediately after launch.

I already tried the following before reporting:

  • Installed the latest version from the official homepage

  • Restarted my Mac

  • Force killed BetterTouchTool via Activity Monitor

After force killing it, the app automatically starts again, but immediately becomes “Not Responding” again.

So it seems to get stuck in a loop where it launches but freezes right away.

macOS version:

macOS 26.3 (25D125)

BetterTouchTool version:

6.222

Additional information (e.g. crash logs, related issues, etc.):

The app does not show a crash dialog. It simply becomes unresponsive right after launch.

The same (synced) config works on 2 other macs.
