Behaviour of the Touch Bar

Is there a way to set up the Touch Bar so that it only shows my global BTT actions when I press the BTT icon but will still show the application specific tools when I am in any given application?

If I deactivate the global settings then the application specific tools I have created work contextually but if the global tools are on then I have to keep switching BTT on and off to be able to see the native application tools of Mac OS applications and then my BTT application tools for, say, After Effects.

Can anyone help with this?

similar question. do i understand correctly that if I unselect " display Mac OS bar" to see my btt touch icons, then I do not have acsess to app specific bars ?. no way to "toggle" betwwen the two ? via a btt action maybe ?

You can easily switch between the BTT and the native bar by e.g. setting up a keyboard shortcut and assigning the predefined action "Toggle BetterTouchTool Touch Bar"
