Application Switcher pop-up window

I have used today the Application Switcher action for the first time in a long time. When I have selected it, this pop-up window has been shown:

I haven't found nothing in Preferences regarding the Application Switcher Mode. Is it an obsolete message?

nowadays the gesture mode can directly be activated on the selected action, I should renove that message
