Hello everyone,
I'm considering buying an Apple Magic Mouse 2 for my M1 Macbook Air. I would like to know if I can use BTT to have a pinch-to-zoom in/out feature for the Magic Mouse (just like on the trackpad). I generally use this feature on the trackpad when reading sth on my browser or pdfs in preview.
I don't like the zoom that you can assign in the accessibility options by using Command + ScrollUp/Down since this zooms the whole screen and messes up the pixels and makes it blurry.
Looking forward to your replies
This feature is not available by default in macOS?
I don't own a Magic Mouse, but from what I can see BTT has the ability to assign different functions for pinching, so I'm sure there is such a possibility (although it certainly doesn't work as smoothly as on a trackpad)
Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure if this is available by default on MacOS. Normally you can assign Command + MouseWheel Scroll Up/Down to zoom in and out via any mouse but like I said, it zooms the whole screen and everything gets bigger (etc mouse cursor) and blurrier. On the trackpad, for example, it functions differently thanks to pinch-to-zoom in/out. I'm currently using an MX Master 3S mouse and even the Logitech app has this feature as a gesture.
I've read in this forum that this feature wasn't available years ago, but just wanted to know if this has been implemented in the new versions of BTT.
