Hey guys,
Since I'm working with Windows and macOS I'm trying to setup up my macOS hotkeys like in Windows. There I switched cmd and ctrl keys. So far so gut.
The only problem I have is in Windows the app switcher is alt+tab, in macos it's cmd+tab.
So I thought I remap the hotkey with BTT. No luck.
I would make it work when I chose application switcher for the action but there'se no reverse tabbing, so alt+shift+tab doesn't do anything?
Any ideas?
You can set alt+shift+tab to the action "move selection in window switcher up" (or similar named - currently not on my mac.
Ah sorry, you are not using the BTT Window/App Switcher!? i would highly recommend it - since it can not only switch Apps but also windows. Which is closer to the behavior of Windows.
Ok I did and you're right. That's a handy tool.
The only I can't figure out it how to get the "one window back" shortcut to work.
it works when I first open the switcher and then go back, but when I just want to go back a window immeditaly and press alt+shift+tab I only see an empty list.
