Describe the bug
With the change to a MacOS Tahoe style UI, it seems like the ability to display the sidebar icons as bigger or with text has been lost. They are currently constantly sized small, with no apparent ability to change the display mode to be bigger or show text.
I can’t recall the exact way this was done before, but I definitely recall a way of making the App icons display text alongside them. Was this done by simply dragging the sidebar? If this setting currently exists, it’s not clear how to access it, as I’ve tried to find it for a while now.
For what it’s worth, a possible cause is that I had the icons resized to display in the “miniature” mode and then got an update to the Tahoe version, keeping them in the small mode. I haven’t tried a total reinstall yet as it’s a hassle: in any case, I think there should be a clear way of resizing the sidebar icons again. Probably the dragging method would be the most intuitive?
Also, as a little feature request, it would be nice to have a menu bar option to completely hide the sidebar for when it’s not needed ![]()
