Hi Andreas. I'm sorry to bother you. I posted the following question a couple of days ago, but no community member has had an answer for me yet. BTT is not working on my Monterey trackpad.
This was my original question:
I've installed BTT on my 2017 McBookPro after new installation of Monterey OS (Version 12.7.6) and transferring all my files and settings from my iMac desktop, which operates on Mac OS Ventura, version 13.6.7) and has a magic mouse.
I've purchased the BTT license and activated the BTT app. I've given it accessibility permissions in the Security & Privacy section of the OS Settings.
In the Trackpad setting on the Apple Settings app, I've checked "Tap to Click".
I've tried to install BTT trackpad window resizing, window moving and window / column width resizing on my MacBook Pro using one finger tap, 2-finger tap, 2-finger double tap and other triggers, but my trackpad does not do any those actions, even though in the BTT configuration screen, I've checked "Gesture is Enabled". It will only do them with a click, the way it is designed by Apple.
Having read a previous post which stated that BTT may be assigning these actions to the magic mouse instead of the trackpad, I also tried to activate these actions in the magic mouse section of BTT, even though I only use a magic mouse on my desktop (from whose timeMachine I imported the settings to the laptop) and I do not have a magic mouse associated with my laptop. All to no avail. The trackpad would just not perform any of the actions I specified.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this problem?
Thank you
