Andreas, I know that this might not be a super-useful and needed feature, but do you think there's a way to anchor a dock icon to a specific position (e.g. far right)? Like the Finder icon is always on the far left side, can this be achieved for other icons and possiblity for your "Custom Dock Icon"?
unfortunately not really. (You could have a floating menu that automatically places itself left or right of the dock)
