AI text Helper - floating menu

Description of what you are sharing
I work in a multinational company, that spreads for various countries and normally we use 3 different languages. PT, ES and ENG

I use ChatGPT translations a lot, and developed this nice floating menu for my translation needs.
Additionally, I added some prompts inspired by the Apple Inteligence prompts. The difference is that this ones actually work (and support any language...).

This is a simple floating menu, activated by "Hyper-Key + C", but of course you can costumize it the way you want.
Additionally, you can just use this as an idea for your own commands and prompts!

As you can see in the screenshot below, thera are 12 prompts:

  • Fix text - That is obvious
  • TR (Eng, Por, Spa) - This ones translate the selected text to the selected language
  • Key Points - Extract the Key Points from the selected text
  • Summarize - Summarize the selected text
  • Summ + Key Points - Its a combination of the other two. you can adjust the prompt
  • Concise - Rewrite this text to make it more concise
  • Table - Convert the selected text in a table, in a comprehensive way.
  • List - Summarize the selected text by turning it into a list of bullet points.
  • Rewrite Prof - Rewrite the text to make it more professional
  • Rewrite Prof Por - Rewrite the text to make it more professional, but for specific Portuguese language (because the generic often uses BR-PT instead...)

I really like this software and have learned a lot from the community! This is my way of giving a little back to the community. Also, I humbly welcome any suggestions for improvement.

Thanks!

Edit: Updated prompts

I've recently discovered BTT, and what you've created is truly a masterpiece—I could really use it as well. However, I'm unable to open it. I've set up the Hyper key, but pressing Hyper key + C doesn't seem to work. Could you help me troubleshoot this issue?

Hi there! Let me try to help you.

The preset when downloaded and imported should add the following "Floating Menu", that you can check under the "Custom Floating Menus & Desktop Widgets":

Now the preset does not configure automatically the "Hyperkey + C" shortcut to call the floating menu, you need to define any trigger for this.

In my case, I have a "Keyboard Shortcut", that is the Hyperkey (Shit + Control + Option + Command) + C, that Calls for the previously mentioned Floating Menu "AI text Helper":

So, when I press the caps lock (hyperkey) + C, the floating menu appears:

Hope it helps!

PS: Feel free to edit the floating menu, and edit all of the prompts.

You are my hero, thank you so much! I guess you're Turkish—so am I. Cheers!

Thanks! Glad to help!
I'm not Turkish, bur cheers anyway!

I was thinking of doing something similar to this, now there is no need, I will customize this. Thanks for sharing.

To make more use of the Chatgpt Api, we need a window like this that shows us the result of the operation
