After migrating to new mac (with touchbar) BTT acts quirky

Describe the bug
Hi @Andreas_Hegenberg ! I have just migrated to a new mac:

Old mac:

Type of Mac: MBP 13" mid 2014
macOS version: 10.13.5
BetterTouchTool version: 2.530

New Mac:

Type of Mac: 13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports
macOS version: 10.13.5
BetterTouchTool version: 2.530

Nothing seems to be working now - no custom touchbar widgets, no keyboard shortcuts... I cant even tell BTT to restart itself

Additional information (e.g. StackTraces, related issues, screenshots, workarounds, etc.):

Type of Mac: 13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports
macOS version: 10.13.5
BetterTouchTool version: 2.530

I've tried to delete the old BTT app from /Applications/, installed again, reenabled the security checkbox in privacy preference pane to enable BTT to work... and nothing. Do you have any suggestions what can I do now?

Okay, i chowned the ~/Library/Application Support/BetterTouchTool to the same user name i had in my previous mac, during migration something clearly went wrong. Now everything works!

This has happened to me too. It also prevented detection of the trackpad and window snapping on my new Macbook Pro 15" 2018.

I used the finder to set the permissions to my account to all files withtin the ~/Library/Application Support/BetterTouchTool folder
