After installing macOS Tahoe, the app won’t launch.

After updating to macOS Tahoe, the BTT app no longer launches. I tried restarting my MacBook and closing BTTRelaunch in Activity Monitor before running it again, but there was no response. I also considered reinstalling the BTT app, but since I don’t have a backup of my presets, I couldn’t proceed.

As far as I remember, the version of BTT installed on my MacBook is not the latest one. I think I pressed the “remind me later” button when prompted to update. Is uninstalling the current version and installing the latest one the only option? If my presets are stored locally within the BTT app installation path, could you let me know the exact location?

yes, that is most likely the only option. BTT‘s data is stored in ~/Library/Application Support/BetterTouchTool

Your presets will still be available after downloading a new version
