Floating menus are a very advanced tool that significantly facilitates work on a Mac. They are especially useful when used as widgets on the desktop. However, a problem arises when using macOS 26 Tahoe (right now in Beta), which employs the Liquid Glass style. Would it be possible to add Liquid Glass to floating menus in BetterTouchTool with the release of the upcoming version of macOS?
yes, that will be possible soon
Hello!
I have a quastion with that - as Tahoe killed Launchpad I finally figured out Floating Menus in BTT. Question: Will BTT have rounded corners like the general Tahoe UI? And - is it possible to make floating menus look like the Liquid Glass in Control Center, the really transparent ones? That would look neat for Floating Menu App Launchers….
And - Thanks Andreas for the most useful app on this planet. I cannot use a Mac woithout BTT. Worth every Cent.
I will soon add the private liquid glass effects as well. (Apple only exposes some default effects but keeps some from third party apps, it is however possible to use them by relying on private properties)
Danke Mann! I thought Apple might do its thing and treat this like you say. Let’s hope they keep this workaround possible for a long time ![]()
Looking forward to everything you are bringing us!
