Adding a trigger for a simple letter, say "u" and then removing it still blocks that key, requires BTT restart

Describe the bug

Suppose you add a "Keyboard Shortcut" trigger for the key "u", with no associated action. Subsequently, when typing text, you can't type "u" anymore. So you delete that bad shortcut. Only: You then still can't type "u"! One has to restart BTT to make it work again.

If I associate an action, the removing the shortcut removes that action, but the key still doesn't work until BTT is restarted.

Device information:

  • Type of Mac:
  • macOS version: 10.14.4
  • BetterTouchTool version: 2.835

Just ran into this myself and was wondering what's going on. Will add a fix

Unfortunately, this is still broken in BTT 2.848.

Don't worry, it will be fixed as soon as the next stable version is released.
